    Earnings 2nd Quarter 2025

May as well get this one started…13 weeks goes by fast around here. Already halfway through 2025.

Where are we headed into the 2nd quarter earnings and financials, GDP, rates, etc?

Seeing projections from big names of another potential 10% through EOY?

No surprise I'm bullish. Exciting times. Only challenge is finding a dip to buy. GOLDEN AGE.

Jan-March 2025 GDP came out a few hours ago..... 0.5.... Big decline from last year. Powell claims inflation still over 2%. Dow, SP, Nasdaq Indexes all within 1% of all time highs. Tech, Financials, and Industrials (especially Aerospace related) are the best sectors so far this year. Worst performing sectors so far this year are Transportation, Energy and Consumer Discretionary.
Goldman, Morgan Stanley and other Analyst are projecting around 6500-6700 on the SP500 by years end. High single digit gain for 2025.
Let it ride. Reinvest dividends, buy on the dips, sell on the rallys the companies you don't want to hold or feel are over valued. These are Value stock investing times. Gotta pay those taxes though.

In regards to individual stocks, Cramer says buy and homework. Not that I'm a Cramer fan, but if you'd have bought and held these at one time "darlings" you'd've lost all your $$. Enron, Bear Sterns, Washington Mutual, Countrywide, Lehman Bros, Toys are Us, WorldCom just to name a few

Nasdaq and S&P at all time highs already for a few days. The DOW is about 270pts (about half of 1%) from all time high. Won't stay there long. Highs don't stay high for very long. Running out of good safe places to put $$. Q2 earnings start the 14th, a week the from monday. At least this rally, since April 7th, is a broader based rally instead of the last rally which saw 7 stocks comprising the majority of gains. But still a Tech driven rally. I'd like to see a more financial lead rally with housing participating more. Housing market sux right now.

Next week has a few…Delta, Pepsi and Levi Strauss on Tuesday and that’s about it.

But you are correct…7/14 it kicks off with the big FSI names the following Monday - JP Morgan, Citi and Wells Fargo

Mag7 haven’t firmed up dates for the most part. Oughta be an interesting July.
