Good pick if you got in recently. Not many companies in this sector of geothermal energy and years from production. If you knew about this announcement in advance I'd be selling today just like a bunch of insiders are. Ormat has been on my watch list for a while.
September is a tough month traditionally and the Global Bond market, Geopolitical unrest, Oil prices has the market spooked.
Since there are only a handful of guys and gals who look and participate on this board, I'll talk about a pick that will ruffle some feathers, but I'll take my medicine (no pun intended).
Its not a double, but if I asked you if you'd invest in an American Large Cap Blue Chip company that has outperformed the SP this year (16%) at a 52 week high, and pays a 6% dividend, but has a bad reputation of creating the jab, clot shot, killer vaccine.....would you? You probably guessed it.
Pfizer (PFE) -
I bought in a little to early n FRVO but sitting fine. Initial production at Cape Station Is suppose to start late 2026 which a startup on any plant takes time to flush everything and work the bugs out. Technology and fracking has made Geothermal doable in just about anywhere in the US. Been watching Ormat also. Interesting on Pfizer.Comment

Bought Pfizer and Merck about a year ago. Wish I would’ve bought more Merck. Up about 80% on them right now. Might still buy some more Pfizer.Comment
