Watched cardinals and mockingbirds eat chili pequins on a fence line I hunted near. They spread them all the way to the other end as they deposited them from their burning butts.

Saw a documentary of South American parrots eating some type of spicy hot peppers or nuts. Soon after they were eating some clay from the river bank supposedly to diminish the fire that was assumedly forthcoming. Once ate chili piquens to show a Hispanic co worker how tough I was He felt obligated to out eat me but had to stop at three. Didn't ever let him know I was swallowing them whole and pretending to chew them.

Don't usually have Mockingbirds during the year until my chiles get red and then they show up.
That old adage that states "If you want something done right you must do it yourself!", didn't quite hold true regarding my latest surgery.
