    Estate knives

I am helping the widow of a true American Hero to dispose of some of the knives he had collected. Jim was a fixed wing pilot in the Korean War and helicopter pilot in the Vietnam war, he retired WO4. I helped her dispose of his gun collection and now the knives, I am not receiving a penny from this, just trying to do what’s right. There are two fairly high $ knives a Randall Big Game Skinner and a R C Campbell #18 sheath knife, neither has been used or carried. The Campbell is a work of art as you can from the pics and the Randall is a Randall. I’m pricing these at $450 each. The small brown handled knife is another R C Campbell it has been carried and used but in good shape, pricing it at $125. The two Bowie knives are really nothing special, the one that is new and unused is marked Gambill, Solingen Germany, it’s really nice and well made I think a fair price for it would be $150. The other Bowie is pretty old from looking at it, carried and used but in good condition, I can make out marking as Soligen Germany but cannot make out the company, I can make out original buffalo skinner and the number 48 on the blade, priced at $125. We could not locate sheaths for the Bowies.
If someone wanted all five knives I think $1,100 would be a fair price, I live in Humble. PM me if interested, I included a picture of Jim’s shadow box, definitely not for sale, displaying his medals so you can see why I consider him a true American hero and that I’m not blowing smoke. They would only let me load five pics, if you would like more pics let me know.

A few more pics, in the #18 knife notice in the second pic how the hilt is tapered within the scales. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.

I have a Jeff Spence that looks like #18 but has water buffalo grips. Same blade design. Nice.

I'll take the Randall if you'll ship it to me. Let me know the freight and how you want to be paid.
Life its too short to own ugly handguns and drink fruity whiskey.

The Randall and Campbells are sold. Also, the old Buffalo Skinner is $125 not $225, my typo.

I believe the Original Buffalo 48 is an Edge Brand from Germany. The Original Buffalo engraved on the blade looks just like some samples I found on a website. Edge Brand is not a manufacturer, but a house brand or trademark of Gutmann Cutlery Co. of Mount Vernon, NY I also learned. I think it's a really cool knife.

The Bowie looks like a Gambill.
