If yall read my last report, i been having some overheating after 4k rpm on 2004 yam 2 stroke. Well I picked her up on Saturday from Acies who was able to get the job done in less than a weeks time on cleaning the heads /block and replaced the trim relays.
Couldn't really get up to 4 k with the East wind about 15 on the west side of Galveston Bay. Its is a bit bumpy for the my ol knees, but the Kaptain and I anchored in to test the waters. Slow outgoing tide and the wind push the other way.
Started hooking up , but not fast and furious like last week. Winds were tearing all week long and gave it a few days to settle down.
The 4 hour stress test with Kaptain began with the first fish and didn't stop till we left. He is a tasmanian devil on board and gets way to excited once the fishing commences . I had to tie him up , but i gave in after 5 mins. He listens like a obedient son everywhere except when the fishing pole comes out. Oh ya, he will direct you with his eyes to the pole to you then to the water , bark loud at fish being caught that every potlicker 1/4 mile can hear. Tied the E collar, wapping em. doesn't phase em. I had 10 looks like you fell down warning on the watch from wapping em. pulling he ear only seems to work..lol
After 8.5 years , you would figure he would mellow out.. Glad I got to bring him along. He will be staying at port for salt trips.. Lake trips are a go .
