We have known each other for about 20 years from various fishing/boating web forums and the day came to be. Stayed in a VBYO with a dock and Grem was there each morning right on time to take the group out. Group was a fishing buddy Jon who made it all happen, his 10 yr old Grandson and his Adult Nephew.

From the first stop to the 2nd day last stop we were hooking up oversized Speckled rout, Keeper Speckled Trout to 19 7/8, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Keeper Croaker, Whiting, Sand trout, Stingrays and to the infamous Sharks . The Grandson has been wanting to catch a shark for years and Grem Hooked him and the rest up with Sharks.

Night before Jon caught a 23.5 Speckled Trout off the dock... First day it was still quite windy and the second was perfect day.

Stayed in the lower Galvez Bay the first, and to the Granite the second. When it was Shark time, it took about 20 mins or so after setting up a balloon with stingray and a bottom setup with live or fresh dead while the Grem Chummed the scraps out. The G son got fisrt shark and he was so happy, then the rest took turns and I gave my turn to the boy. He added some chum after catching the shark from the adrenaline rush and the swells. He got right back up . A trooper he is.

There was a 3 item pool each day. First fish, largest and most. the G son won first on day one and most on both days and walked out with $$ in his pocket.

We all got to know Grem over the past 2 days with his respectfulness, overall knowledge , great personality, stories and the willingness to grind out full day trips with a variety of customers. I dont know how he gets all this things he does without having a twin brother or 2. We need more Grems in this world and he has a little Grem that is growing up and will run the boat one day. That 26 ft SouthShore that we fished on was a dream boat to fish out of. He utilizes every inch of it. I been on one other SouthShore ( Jim West's ) and they sure do suit the needs of the Outdoor Sportsman.

Many PB's we had by our crew, - First Sharks, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Croaker.

I cranked em up as well. That one that got away , the one that we could see in the gin clear water that smoke a bait, fight a little bit and boom, it got off. Must of been about 28-30 inch Trout... Sometimes its the ones that get away keep ya coming back for more.

I did get him to eat on board as I heard he doesn't as he is working non-stop ..lol I Made a Muffuletta Pasta Salad . Brought some of the Shrimp boil that I cooked dockside and T-bone steak slivers, spiced chicken as well. This was a special trip , so Surf n Turf it was >

I would eat that pasta for sure, but probably a little much for Beamer driver.

You took great care both days and took the time to cleaned the bloodlines out . Im not a fan of cleaning the speck with the upside down belly method. Loose some meat . Ol Fashing way is better looking on the plate as a whole filet . Appreciate Cha
