Dock lights and residential canals. 2-3 & 2-4-24

Dropped the boat in as it got dark and the wind finally slacked off. I hit a few dock lights along the ICW. It didn't take long to find some pretty good trout (they're not all dead). I caught them on several different lures, mostly on a homemade slow sinker, the Rickie Fowler as Grem calls it. I got (8) nice ones before I gave up and went in. I got a couple on Softdines, the XL and the regular. Sorry about the pics, I didn't want to show anyones pier.

I went out at first light this morning and ran some residential canals. Got the first on one of my top waters and the rest on my orange slow sinker. The water looked terrible but as Chum said in his post, the saltwater is still there it's just on the bottom. I got (7) this morning before the wind got to going pretty good. Right now the slow sinking mullet type lures are the ticket. The fish this morning were on the sides of the canals where the sun was shining, nothing on the shady side.
