Brown Anoles

I’ve been practicing my BB gun shooting on Brown Anoles. Getting pretty good at get them. BBs are nicely effective…and it’s fun.

I remember as a kid being near Inks Lake and the rocky cliffs beside the roads had many lizards, not sure which species. But it was BB gun heaven.

The Brown Anoles are pretty obvious, and unfortunately are invasive, and having an impact on the Green Anole population. I got two adults and one baby yesterday. Probably a losing battle, but it's like going on safari during off-hunting times. I may set up a guide service for extra income...CSN Lizard Safari's, LLC. 😉

I wonder what a full body mount would cost.

Do they make night vision scopes for BB guns

My front porch is covered with geckos at night LOL
but they are good at eating bugs so

I think I'll just stick to killin coons

I have a live camera pointed out front through a bedroom window. It looks cool when a gecko walks on the window in front of the camera lens!!

Now there’s an idea, ground Brown Anole wonton wraps.

Maybe fried backstrap.

I'm thinking just free floating in gumbo, maybe sauteed with the bell pepper and onions first.
