Actually, their shows are very educational for anyone who ever ventures where a rattlesnake may be encountered. As they talk, they give you a lot of insight as to what makes a rattlesnake do what it does. It really helps you know what to do or not to do in certain situations.

Well, finally found last night’s kill… guess i won’t be taking this one to the taxidermist. Some helpful black birds told me where he was.

A couple from the pasture west of us. I caught them coming out of the gate this morning and had a chat. The one on the left was shot yesterday afternoon I heard the shot the one on the right was shot this morning by a nephew I believe he said. Nice place about 800 acres low fence on the San Miguel Creek.

Anybody ever gotten their deer mount back in 16 days?

My taxidermist called me last week and said my buck was ready. I thought he dialed the wrong number.

He was caught up and I slid in just in time!

Its a wall pedestal…kinda hard to get a picture to come out right.

Four turkeys for the price of three bullets, filled all my tags in 2 minutes. I've gotten three with 2 shots before, but this was a new personal best.

The day before this, I had counted 65 turkeys at the feeder, and there were still a bunch more in the woods behind me.

I put 25 acres of oats on a 100 acre pasture. Pigs jumped on it as soon as I planted. Kids are putting a dent in the population.
