I killed a Mouflon Corsican cross many years ago. It was as bad or worse than any meat I have ever tasted.

That seems to be one of those things that has no middle ground, either somebody “just knows how to cook it” and claims it’s great, or it’s a meat that a starving buzzard wouldn’t touch without a buttload of ketchup.

Coyotes and Buzzards love them! Not sure a Cara Cara would touch them though.
I told them we’ve already got one

            Had some aoudad once.

            once.

if mouflon is anywhere close to an armpit, you've got yourself a winner.

...and this coonass will eat just about anything.

Put in an ice chest with a salty brine ice water for 3 days. Drain and sprinkle with 4 or 5 cans of a good meat tenderizer. Then add 3 cans of Tony chacheries and a gallon of milk. Mix well in a tray. Throw the whole thing away.

I'm gonna try it the same way I cook snow geese. Bake it on a cedar plank and then throw away the mouflon meat and eat the cedar plank.

Try sear, braise, drain, braise, over season, braise, drain, over season, braise, drain, over season, braise, drain, throw away and go to Taco Bell. Eat or don’t eat, you’ll either throw up or get the runs.

Now, now, deep fried gooches dipped in gravy makes cedar planks taste nasty.

I'd think they would be pretty good IF taken when there is milk on its breath and around its mouth.
