Several people in my neighborhood here in League City have it, as does my son. He has no complaints and his wife works from home a couple of days a week so she relies on it. They do seem to have a few more outages than I do. I am still with Xfinity. My Xfinity was scheduled to go to $320 also, so I went to the storefront in Kemah, last week, and they got it down to $235, so I’m staying another year. I was ready to go with frontier had they not come off the $320. I didn’t change my service at all to get to the $235.00, just fyi. -
Frontier put in infrastructure and lines couple years ago along the main road next to our neighborhood. each time someone signs up on our street they run another line from main road to the person’s house. meased up our driveway but wont do anything about it. also they stop by once a month to sellComment

Similar. They put the infrastructure in our neighborhood (11 houses). Long story short, I went ahead and signed up and decided to also keep Xfinity. Within a day or so they installed the fiber from the "pedestal" to my house. Three weeks later they still couldn't figure out how to make it work after several attempts. I was worried about reliability if they couldn't make it work in the first place an cancelled. If Xfinity goes up here, I'll likely give Frontier another shot.

Not in the same area, but I have fiber optic and then stream what I want for television.
I like fiber.👍 1Comment

I have Xfinity too. If they come along and increase my monthly bill to $300 plus I think Starlink is going to have a new customer.👍 1Comment

I have Frontier at Ingleside on the Bay. It is a very good service. We have fiber service at the cabin in Colorado and at IOB. We have Spectrum in New Braunfels, and it seems to go out more often. Frontier is the least expensive followed by the Coop in Colorado. Spectrum is the highest, but we get Direct TV through Spectrum and can watch it anywhere we go. The only thing I don't like is our news is always San Antonio.Comment

Frontier finally installed fiber on our street(in League City) about a year ago (I think) and I jumped on it immediately. The cost is reasonable and the service very reliable. However, they say I have 1gig service but in the evenings and weekends either they throttle the service or there are too many people using the same pipe so it slows considerably.
Interestingly, I'm on my phone's mobile hotspot as we speak due to an outage (very rare though).Comment
