    Kerrville

Not sure if any of our members live in Kerrville, but they're getting bad flooding along the Guadalupe.

One would think this will fill the lake a little...well downstream.

I was just going to ask if there was any wind with this thing, it looks like a tropical storm.

Sad, at least 6 fatalities reported. Some friends were Rv’ing on the river at center point, but luckily were told to evacuate in time.

Man, catastrophic. I'm afraid there may be ALOT of casualties when the smoke clears.

Wow, sorry to read about this, horrible.

Is this from that storm that went into Mexico?

No matter how good the drainage is, 30 inches of rain in 10 hour's is going to cause flooding! Can't help but feel for those folks.

                      Just passing info on:

From Comal County commissioner just now:
"Forecast models are starting to catch up for the Guadalupe River at Spring Branch. As of 3pm 07/04/25, the Guadalupe @ Spring Branch is at 2.5'. The NOAA prediction is by 2am 07/05/25 the Guadalupe at Spring Branch will crest at 37’ and be moving at 71,000 cfs."

Downstream from Canyon Lake dam won't notice a lot (unless rain sets over New Braunfels, or the Corps wildly increases dam output--unlikely).
Curious how it changes the lake level.

Saw a video couple months back on Canyon lake and this deluge will help but not even bring it up to half its capacity.
