It really wasn't that difficult. The hardest part is being around my friends that continue to see how much they can drink. No fun at all. And I used to be the best at it.If it ain't broke, fix it anywayComment

Congratulation!
This year is #8 for me too. Don't miss it at all. I was a professional raised around a bunch of professionals.
Yeah being around a bunch of drunks ain't as fun as it was when your drinking too.
I never released how much drinking affected my physical fitness I quit smoking and drinking and could walk the duck marsh like a new man.Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Onward, Christian soldiers,
marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
going on before!
Christ, the royal Master,
leads against the foe;
Forward into battle,
see his banner go!👍 2Comment

Congratulations, to you and everyone who has made this change. I am truly happy for each of you and know it was tough to take that step.
I've known (for certain) three alcoholics in my life. One a close friend who reached a point of being hospitalized twice before he finally sought treatment and has been sober for over 20 years. The second never gave it up and died too young. The third, another dear friend who came to the realization one night after some really heavy drinking. The next morning he told his wife he was never going to drink again, and he kept his word throughout the rest of his life.👍 1Comment
