      It was hot in 2011 3 months of triple digit heat for 3 months and only 6 inches of rain for the whole year at 7L .

        Yes Randy, 2011 was unforgettable. All of the outdoors ... including public parks, neighborhoods, etc., were changed forever. When we see anything several generations old like trees die off, it hurts. If I remember correctly, 2012 had unheard-of crappie fishing here the next year. Since Lake L is as constant level as logarithms can make it, and bulkheaded everywhere, it can't be a great crappie lake. But the drought the year before caused tremendous and fast vegetation growth which threw a wildcard on the table!
