Car Ramps to take blades off he J.D. otherwise like the PK says, but it takes me more than a minute to get up lol

My john deere deck was fairly easy to remove. Couple of cotter pins and a few bolts if i remember. I'd think most are built the same. Youtube is your friend there.

As far as keeping it clean, I remember hearing to spray it with WD and it makes cleanup alot easier.

My floor jack wouldn’t lift this high enough to suit me so I put a 8x8 block on the jack and then it was too unstable for my liking.
I was at a remote location so I improvised by using a couple of 8ft 2x6’s and 4 cinder blocks that were available and made a ramp. It was stable and allowed plenty of room to replace the blades.
Don’t forget to chock the rear wheels regardless of the method you use and no, I didn’t drive it any further up the boards!😀

Maybe put the Jack on top of the block if large enough?

I put my ramp on my truck. Drive the mower half way up. Lock the parking brake. Chock the wheel. Get after it.

With the zero turn one drive up ramp works well.

Done a number of things recommended here. Currently use the tractor bucket and a chain. In the past for a long time it was a come along and a tree limb.

I use impact to take blades off and use a floor jack and a milk crate for mine. I run a lawn service on the side and today, Sat, is day that I look all of it over and fill fuels, check blades etc.
