Well I doubt Detroit has any other starter to compare with this dude today. That’s a really good pitcher.

That's all she wrote boys. I'm afraid the run is dwindling down. Its been a great ride. We've certainly been spoiled here in Houston with the Astros, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. Until next season.

Never were able to put any consistency down this year lucky to make playoff and hang another division title flag!

Well that was quick- turned it on in the 7th, yikes! Pressley and Hader really spit the bit.
                    Sorry guys....
Will be an interesting offseason for both our teams.

Congrats to the Tigers, definately the better team. Series MVP, AJ HInch. Completely shut down the Astros, with 1 starting pitcher.

I call it Hinchy's revenge. On Crane for throwing him under the bus over the cheating hoax. I wish he was still here.

Well hell look at the good side, we won't have to listen to these guys call any more games. Was it just me or did they go 2-3 innings at a time and forget there were two teams on the field?
That being said, Congratulations Tigers, you played better and deserved to win.

Sad part is it will revolve around Bregman, That decision should already be made. They have to have a set $ amount, and a plan of where to spend that $ if Bregman walks. It has to be a bat, a real bat, not a, I got a feeling and I'm Jeff Bagwell bat.

Well it was him or Altuve. To me, Altuve is the heart and soul of that team, if he walked I think it would have been a serious wound, both to the team and the fans.
But who knows, maybe they'll choke off the money for Bregman, but he may be a hot commodity as a free agent, even with a somewhat off season. Ain't gonna be cheap.

You also have to factor in Tucker, he's a FA at the end of next season.

When there is a mound meeting, and the infield is in attendance, Bregman is usually doing the talking, He may not be Correa out front telling the world to kiss it, but he is the team leader as far as I can tell, not Altuve. IMO the team is already lacking in the leadership that has to make the hard day to day decisions that if you are sucking, we give somebody else a shot, no matter what their contract value says. They still have to make a decision on Tucker too. this team can easily become the Angels, with Altuve and Pena as the figure heads, and the pitching staff being sold off. We'll see there is always next year untill there isn't.
