    Astros

Is it just me or does the new box telling you the score, batter, pitch count etc. suck? Seems smaller and hard to read, especially the bottom line showing the hitter, pitcher and pitch count.
That being said after yesterday's game once again our undefeated season is out of the question.

No..it's not just you. It was the first thing I noticed and the hate grew through the game.

Oh yeah, I said the same to the Mrs.'s. I had to put my glasses on to see the pitch count.
I don't have anything clever to write here.

It seems possible that if enough people emailed or contacted Space City Home Network about the smaller numbers that they may change it back.

I just emailed the network support for SCHN at:

I just sent them a message to this e-mail expressing my concerns and received an immediate reply telling me things to check. I think this is an e-mail for their app and not to the station.

I did receive a second reply saying they would forward my concerns to the appropriate team, so maybe there's a chance the right person will see it. Everyone go ahead and send them a message and we'll see what happens.

There were several of them who didn't lower their batting average even one point last night.

Sounds familiar, 9 LOB, 1-7 with RISP. A dinger by Air Yordan and a brain dead error to score Pena, and that's it. Spring don't mean crap Burrows stunk it up! Go Stros

I'm glad I don't have Apple TV. No plans to get it either.

Radio is cheap and just as brutal, you can watch the lowlights on the team website.

He didn't even skits out when the infield was playing keystone cops.

Yep, I was surprised by that as well. He was actually smiling a bit and telling the rookie its all good. Meds must be working or maybe he just needed a change and also like AJ?

He does like A.J. but it is important that he makes his appointments with his shrink.

The Astros front office is highly successful. So far their strategy of stripping the team of everyone who can successfully pitch or get on base is working perfectly.

I haven’t watched one pitch of Astros baseball so far this season until tonight. Turned the game on one pitch before Paredes bounced a double off the top of the LF wall scoring 2 runs and they’ve scored 9 more since. I’m not saying it’s me, but……

Well there were lots of squibblers and wild throws to help them score runs. I wouldn't call this an offensive explosion.

                Just sayin'

Yes, some plays were worse than you would see in LLWS. But I'll take the win.

Yep, it is a long season. And the team has some talent. You are going to win 50 games and you are going to lose 50 games. It is what you do in the other 62 games that matters. Enjoy the ride.

Does anyone coach them on the use of or should I say blatant misuse of the challenge? They have a great big ofer so far, both of the challenges last night were downright stupid. They could have used them successfully towards the end of the game when it really matters when there were obvious missed calls. Challenging (and losing) the first pitch of an at bat in the early innings doesn't make much sense unless it's obviously 100% wrong.

Decision belongs to the batters and the catchers.

I've wondered if coaches coach and managers manage for a long time. The other night two challenges in meaningless situations were wasted then later Altuve had a 3-1 pitch 3" wide called a strike on him with runners on trying to break a tie game. Espada should hold a team meeting about using the challenges. Their offensive blunders just go on and on and unchecked.
