Yeah no one on here can say they felt confident until the 27th out was recorded.
Now let's talk about the new and improved "patient" Altuve. Runner on third with two outs, first pitch, ball. Then he decided to swing at ball 2, 3, and 4, the last one was so far outside it would have hit or went behind a left-handed hitter. Never overlook in victory what you would point to in defeat. This may be (is) the reason he's hitting around .240.

What's your point? It's Altuve, next week he goes 9 for 18, that's his thing. Oh and don't forget that 2 of the 9 hits he gets, he will be thrown out on the base paths, rounding first too far, trying to stretch a single into a double, caught stealing, you name it he does it. Cute little guy though.

Well at least he waited until the first inning to do something stupid today.

Season ending ankle injury while at batting practice, what's next broken ribs from a massage?

Nice of Alexander to take one for the team today and soak up the innings when McCullers blew a gasket. He likely gets DFA'd tomorrow to clear a roster spot for another arm. Good news is he will likely stay with the team, since nobody will claim him off waivers with 15.00 ERA.

I hope you’re talking about McCullers, 3 runs allowed on 4 wild pitches, era 7+, good for 1 decent start out of 5!

I guess, I'm talking about Alexander coming in to soak up junk innings after McCullers sucked.

This just reported; LMJ left the game with a season ending hangnail.

Framber would play through it. He only gets sidelined for blisters.

Well on the bright side, Cesar Salazar gave up 1 less homerun and 9 less runs than Framber gave up in his last outing. Karma....

How long before Yordan is traded? ~2 years left on his current deal and then he'll likely become one of the highest paid players in baseball.

Does he fit in the Astros timeline?

Never! they haven't made a smart decision since Brown took over from Crane/Bagwell. He will play out his contract, then the Dodgers will make him the richest Cuban ever.

That's wrong, makes it sound like the Tejada deal was good, They have done nothing since they fired Lunhow.

His value will never be higher, and the astros are lost in the darkest timeline. So yeah, I'd trade him. And Brown if he gets healthy. And Hader. Tear it down, have a couple bad years of nostalgia fun with altuve and correa while rebuilding.
