I'm sure there are some fantastic things that will be possible with AI; however, like anything else, sinister people will find a way to use it to their advantage to create havoc.

I actually think the interesting thing about what is said in the video is that Obamanation is talking about controlling the population, juxtaposed to the potential that the video may be AI produced. If AI was used to produce the video, it would be revealing as to how AI could be used to control the population.

From what I've been hearing. AI already is doing some amazing "positive" things. Such as beating fighter pilots in dogfights every time. I heard a radiologist discussing AI being used to review xrays. Which I could see happening, since it's looking for anomalies. It can have it's uses. It could also wipe us all out.

We were using it in the oil and gas industry. It was actually an .NET windows but ran it on a cray xc40 under MONO. It inferenced the best time to pull the trigger on purchasing oil tankers of crude based on global events and markets. It was a 10 min decision on when to purchase gazzmillions of dollars of oil. We got an internal company award for that but yeah it's all over and this thing we worked on was back in 2017...
