Dark money has flooded into small races all over the country, flipping mayor and city council seats. Happened in pearland just last year. Hitchcock and LaMarque recently had all their game rooms raided with lots of $$$ confiscated. Haven't read details on the LaMarque raid but Hitchcock mayor was involved along with other city folks for collecting almost $1M in excess fees while allowing the businesses to remain open.
Guessing this mayor had his hands in the till as well.Comment
