    Rest In Peace STIX.
I'll carry a piece of you along with me every time I hit the water.
Prayers sent for family and friends.
    But mama said.

        Rest in peace, Billy.
Who knew that the hardest thing of being an adult is figuring out what to fix for dinner and doing it every single night for the rest of your life until you die?

Dang... Sad news. Always stopped by his booth at the fishing show every year. Didn't go this year..

RIP Billy. Grandson texted me yesterday. He has one of Billy's rods as does my wife. Suggested he use Billy's rod during his bass tourney this weekend.

He sure did enjoy what he did. Godspeed.
Life its too short to own ugly handguns and drink fruity whiskey.

Billy was one of the Good Guys! I have one of his rods hanging in my office and it has never been used. It's just too pretty! RIP, Billy.

Man, he just joined over here this last month as well I believe. RIP Mr Stix.

I bought a few of his spinning rods back in 11-12’ for my wife as I was pretty much strictly an open face guy and she’s straight spinning tackle. I converted to spinning the last couple years after I gave up wade fishing but didn’t have one on any of his rods. Kinda weird I guess timing wise but I was in the garage Sunday morning and taking a buddy out to the jetties to light line up on the rocks for sheepies. I pulled one of his rods off the rack knowing it’d hold up to a fight in the current with an older 3000 on it just in case I hooked up with a big red.

I remember when we flew Stix to Texas for one of the gatherings many years ago (2004). I have several BillyStix rods he built for me over the years. Stix was certainly a fine specimen of a gentleman. Until then BMM.
