Which would be the better time to make a trip to Port Isabel to fish for reds,specs, snook, black tips etc, third week of Sept or third week of Oct.? I have fished there in Sept but never Oct. Weather has caused a few problems in Sept. but I think that is the case most all year.

Id go in Oct. Seasons down there seem to come turn on earlier and hang on longer, all weather depending of.course. The jetties are fire in oct.

Matt, when does the rain minnow migration go through SPI/Port I?

Sounds like I need to try Oct instead of Sept!
