I heard 3 dove per day, with no more than two of those being whitewings. Some guy called Guindon talked them into it.

Are you serious? They are taking it from 15 to 3?

No, not serious. That is why I threw in the Guindon remark, to hopefully make the joke more obvious. But, if you are not a red snapper fisherman (I am not), then it may not have meant anything to you. It seems that the TP&WD doesn't always use sound biological reasoning for determining limits anymore. Politics gets involved now.

I don’t snapper fish so I didn’t catch the Guindon comment. Can’t say I disagree about TPWD sometimes though.

Wow! Well that should take me down to a half box of shells a trip. but since I only go 1 or 2 times, getting enough for poppers is gonna be tough.

Also heard you can only shoot male doves in the morning and females in the evening. First you have to either have good eye site and/or hearing to get a dove stamp. If you see some wood or hear a rattle of nuts when they fly by in the morning safe to shoot. No wood and no rattle in the evening somewhat safe to shoot but caution it could also be an old male dove out to support TPWD. If dove has lots of makeup on w/ lipstick and an Adams apple its a transgender dove so it's off limits until Trump's elected. Join DLM (dove lives matter) to show your support.
