Shotgun Shell Prices

Ran to Academy to stock up for dove/duck season. I spent $600. FJB!
$10/box - "Cheap" lead shot for shooting clays
$12/box - Heavy Dove loads
$35/box - Steel shot (only ones in stock)

If you buy it by the case, you save $1-2 per box. Steel shot by the case was not an option.

A few weeks ago Wal Mart in west Colombia had 12 gage dove loads for $5 Not sure how many

And it isn't just shotgun shells that are pricey. Crazy. (I gotta pad my post count.......😀)

I got about ten cases of 20ga wing and clay cheapo 8s for $69.99 a case.
Also got cases of 28ga skeet load 9s for $110.
and cases of 28ga dove loads for $130.

Good question. I’ve been here 39 years this month, and I’m still trying to get acclimated.
