    Overload on Cottonseed

So I have gotten off my lease in Menard and will be hunting at my uncles place in Sheridan. I went there this morning to drop off some supplies, and pick up some things that I can use to get the property into deer hunting mode. As part of my preparation, I stopped in at Danevang Cotton Gin to pick up about a ton of cottonseed. My trailers maximum payload is supposed to be 1910 lb (single axle, 14’) but without realizing how much was loaded, I got 2460 lb. Was a little nervous at first, but then I thought, some of the load was on the tongue and the Load Rated C tires probably have a service factor, I relaxed…a little.

I think the next time I do this, I’ll go scale-out before tarping the load. No problem for my truck, but trailer was a lil’ overloaded.
I told them we’ve already got one

When the wheels are kicked in at the top and rubbing the inside of the fenders you're officially overloaded.
