    Catching the fawn munchers

    A guy I worked with for 30 years is a professional trapper, he traps for hunting clubs here in E Tex, heres a few of what he caught in 3 nights. Total caught in a week was 16 coyotes, 7 bobcats and 2 fox. 2 cats and the 2 fox were released Click image for larger version

    Last year in the same club in a week he caught 26 coyotes, 10 bobcats and 9 beavers so they asked him back.

            I have an uncle that worked for the State of Texas for a few years as a trapper. I have never tried trapping, but the guy in the OP knows his stuff and has proven it. I think knowing where to set and scent control are both very important.

            Every man needs a mounted beaver. It will be in trophy room . I’d have to arrange shipment of case skinned rodent . Like to get a Rosie o donnel sized one - not a midget

                He's in Spurger, have another friend in Lufkin, have no idea how far they will go. I do know both stay busy this time of year. Where are you?
