I thought the guy on the Buffalo was impaled guess he was hanging on. Then that shooter let go a couple of nitro's in his direction either way that's nuts.

I've been almost killed by two cape Buffalo. It is not fun or cool or exhilarating. It is terrifying and PTSD .... nightmares. Make a good clean first shot and follow up as needed. Back out of the thick stuff together with eyes in all directions. A shot cape Buffalo turns into next level something else.....

Thats the back of my head in the foreground. At this point this cape buffalo is shot three times with a 470 NE, three times with a 450 NE, and right after this picture i shot him with a 416 at the end of my barrel charging right into me....

Those things have an attitude. I have seen some pictures of damage they can do. One had a full grown rotting lion impaled on its horns. Looked like it had been carrying it around for a while.

They are adrenaline mega junkies. They elevate Adrenaline instantly ( survival ) and use it to protect themselves. My second bull took 5 from 416- it stopped the progress but you’d never know you hit him with 5,000 ft/lbs of energy with each shot.

My ph had a bull come in and shoved his extended rifle( client had just shot it ) into his head, knocking him out - bull had put horn under right tit and under collar bone tossing him in air( he was knocked out at this time ). Bull worked him on the ground tearing off clothes before expiring next to him.

I had a similar thing happen to me at Golden Corral when the shrimp were put out. Used diversionary tactic by saying they had just put snow crab on next steam table. Scored five shimps before Bertha realized she had been duped and then spun on one hoof and grabbed the whole tray of shrimp and the bowl of cocktail sauce.

Big ole boy I knew was a gunsmith at R&M in El Campo went to Africa before I moved down here. Got a tick bite and got sick. They had a Dr. there treat him he was still having some issues when he returned. He also said there are some sneaky snakes there you better watch for that will hurt you bad. Trouthunter knows who I am referring to.
