    Batteries

Most corn feeders come with rectangle 12 v, 7 or 8 ah batteries.

Say spinning 5 seconds twice a day, why not use 12v 5 or less ah?
Seem to get around 3+ years not matter what brand, think the Texas summer has lot to do with it. (Feed all year)

go with smaller, or is there top secret place can source that is less expensive. Need 4 or 5 now, Normally one at a time and would not think about it.

No relationship with this company but saw them at the boat show. Seems like good products but I haven't shopped prices so don't know how they compare. They are located in Dallas area.

Mach 1 Lithium makes lithium battery replacements for tools, vehicles, and more. Our tested, proven design outperforms major name brand batteries costing substantially more. Find out about our batteries here.

Put an inexpensive 12v solar charger on each feeder. They keep the battery fully charged and last a very long time if you protect
        the exposed wires from squirrels.

With a solar charger you should get at least 5 years out of one.

Yep. I have found that the Interstate 12v batteries hold up well. 5 years is about right.
Life its too short to own ugly handguns and drink fruity whiskey.
