If it was safe they would let the land owners purchase and use it. Dead animals must be buried to a certain depth? Special bait stations with lids weighing 17lbs or more? All live stock must be removed from the pasture? But it's not harmful to other animals. Probably only 4 people licensed in the state that can name their price. Not worth the hassle, time or money. I'll keep shooting them. Is the state going to come in and feed my buzzards and coyotes?

It's just a restricted use pesticide like 2,4D or something: the same private applicator license is all you need if I'm not mistaken..
From what I've read on it, they're claiming that the hogs are particularly sensitive to the warfarin, and will die with a dose that isn't fatal to pretty much anything else..
"The product is not considered acutely toxic to non-target animals in the event some might gain limited access to the bait nor is it found at lethal levels within the tissue of deceased feral hogs"
