Rowing through these flooded old growth hardwoods has been a favorite past time of mine for well over a half century

It seems to be the only thing that hasn't changed much in my lifetime

Always some interesting wildlife to see

Still trying to get a decent pic of some woodies

Today only some teal and grebes

Had to cut it short today, had too much coffee and was putting out a wake getting back to land

It's a fine river bottom. I got to paddle it down in the Damon area a few weeks back it had been years. Ain't going to wait that long again.
