    Looks Like Twins Again

    A few does are showing

I think this is the same one that had twins last year.

Did the last tractor mowing today, mostly path clearing.

Leaving the rest tall till the fawns are up and running.

Just checked my pics for the average date on births

    Late May to mid-June usually

Like hunting easter eggs, only easier

Just look for a doe milling around during daytime

This one was found May 22

Been keeping trails short, no more high grass cutting. Have lots of does swollen, dang tramps…….. they seem to drop right by the house, guess they feel safe.

Earliest I've seen a fawn here in SE Tex was May 1......ALL healthy does should have twins....raising 2 is dependent on several factors
Well cut my legs off and call me shorty

We saw a little fawn yesterday evening riding SxS a couple miles down the road.
            But mama said.

We lost a fawn mowing the pasture yesterday.

I figured it was late enough in the spring…our rut started in late August. This one would have been conceived around Oct 1…wasn’t more than 1-2 days old.

Pasture was 2’ tall and mama had her bedded down 20 yards from the house near the water trough.

              Sucks

My neighbor mows his place several times in the spring and I warn him often but his dumb ass wont listen
