    Dollar Weed

This is new to me, having dollar weed fairly bad in a St. Augustine lawn. Can anyone who has been though this recommend a way to kill the dollar weed without killing my grass?

Celsius WG Herbicide | Post-Emergent Weed Killer (solutionsstores.com) this. It will stunt the growth of grass for about two weeks but it does not kill St. Augustine.

I think you have to be careful around trees, and it will stunt, but not kill, your grass. I bought the 2oz bottle because it only takes about 0.05oz per gallon. I’ve used on a large variety of weeds and it seems to work well, with multiple applications.

I know the link below looks a little suspect, but it’s a legit Amazon link. Or, look up MSM Turf Herbicide.
I told them we’ve already got one

Metsulfuron Methyl does seem to be a good choice.

I had good luck with Image in a hose end sprayer, little over 20$ down at the Ace Hardware
Well cut my legs off and call me shorty

Of the 3 categories ... easy, moderate and difficult to kill Dollar weed is somewhere around moderate if caught and treated early. Something with 2, 4D should work. The clue is to follow directions and be sure to not overdo it. By that I mean mix exactly as suggested and be sure not to respray too soon. As someone suggested a hose end spray product can do.

I’ll second Image, but I prefer a pump up sprayer so I can control placement.

I use 2,4-D on Dollarweed, there is a small plant looks like it called Dicondra and I use Image Southern Lawn Herbicide

The title to this thread is misleading.

DuraCor will knock it out and is much friendlier than 2,4 D.
