It was moving when we got it. I saw it stalled over you then it backed up and we got another quick inch. Ended up with 2.4 " between Charlotte and Pearsall around the Schattle area.

We got 2.56" here. Finally caught some tank water.
I would have been born on a horse, but my mom had to get down and open a gate.

We just spent over an hour in the storm shelter. Alerts were saying a tornado North of Fairfield headed towards us. We had 3" of rain in an hour and high winds. RB, JQ and Shooter I hope y'all came out of it okay. Y'all are all South of us and that is where it came from.

the Hill Country river headwaters didnt get much either...
I doubt river flows are affected...
tubing will still be mostly walking from one little butt-dragging pool to the next

a 'Beulah storm track" is needed to revive our SWTX rivers...and that would be tuff on Valley and Lower Coast

I'm afraid you're right about that, gonna take a storm to stall and dump 12 inches.

Got 3-3/4" early this am in Pasadena.
That old adage that states "If you want something done right you must do it yourself!", didn't quite hold true regarding my latest surgery.

Not sure how much we got here in Baytown but is was coming down hard for a while, and the wind was blowing it sideways. We lost power about 04:30 and the Generac kicked on.

We just got power back a few minutes ago.

Nearby gauges here vary from 6+ to 8+ inches in a short distance. I got at least 6 inches; that is when my gauge overflows.

Same here WBF. Water is over my bulkhead and boathouse decking. Most of my recent landscaping is toast, but hey, we're still here with no major damage. Friends in Trinity are not so lucky. Water is about 1" from getting into their house and we all know it's going to rise more before it falls. Stay safe everyone. I'm on snake patrol right now.
