New bait deployment toy

I contemplated for the past year on getting one and finally pulled the trigger. It’s definitely a beast of a drone with 33 pounds of thrust and can carry 8 pound baits with ease. Much larger than the previous splash drone offering. Going to practice with it Sat at the soccer fields before I fly it over the open ocean. Will be able to get good shark baits out in pretty much any conditions now, game changer!

I always wondered what would happen if you crashed it into the water, is there a way to recover it? If not that would be an expensive loss.

It will float on water if crashed so would likely have to hop in the yak and get it back. I believe it will up right itself in the water and you can take off from the water with this drone. We will find out ha!

The brand is Swellpro and the model is the Fisherman Max. Definitely was not cheap, 2900.

I don’t surf fish anymore but I know they are not allowed on padra island national seashore. Not sure why.

It's prohibited in most all national parks "without prior approval by the superintendent"... I guess that makes sense in some, otherwise you'd have fifty drones flying around Mount Rushmore all day..

Friend of mine has either that or one in the same basic category, it got away from him, then the next day or two he got a phone call that somebody had found it in the dunes.
