My buddy Carlos (beachbomberfishing) on YouTube has probably the best in depth review on this thing. Been texting him quite a few questions on this thing.

Wow! That's a far cry from using balloons to take shark baits out to the desired area. Granted that was in Ft. Lauderdale, FL when I was in high school using the NW/W winds.
Who needs a carnival freak show when we have the Galveston Wal-Mart?

That thing looks like you could just leave the line attached and when you hook up just let it haul the fish back to the beach.

It does have a 4K camera, however the gimble that it is mounted on is NOT the best for filming. It moves up and down only and the stabilization of the camera is so so at best. Would have been nice if the camera setup was better given the price point but this drone was designed with 1 thing in mind and that was payload and dropping big baits.

TPOTTS, since you really like that type of fishing, I think the drone makes perfect sense for you. Congrats.
Something that I hadn't about until just now, will you able to use it at night?

Nice drone. What is its range?
Why am I so cynical of the media and the government these days?

The specs say 1 mile. I’d never run it that far, probably 5-800 yards max.

Yes! I will be able to use it at night. It has lights on it. Being able to get baits out at night was a big factor in getting this. Much safer, especially solo a lot of the time.

That is great then. I think many like you and Matt often fish at night. And of course, being safer, is a huge concern. Safety, and your peace of mind, is hard to put a price tag on.
