ID:	104014 Release has been over 124,000 CFS for at least the last 12 hours. I attached the Harvey release, which seems to back what you said.

Pic from my buddy's house yesterday in Cape Royale. I was supposed to spend the weekend there but changed my mind.

I posted this pic on another thread about the floods on LL. It's a pontoon boat that rose so high in its boathouse, that it lifted the roof and the whole thing, boat and roof floated down the lake.

Falcon was higher than it's been since 2019, now it's dropping like the dam broke, even though there has been rain all along the Rio grande watershed. The meskins must be watering the fentanyl fields.

Did they ever get the hydro electric generator set up on Livingston dam ? I asked in another thread but forgot which flood thread it was in.

I'd love to know how they keep all of the flood debris out of those intake tubes. You can't see that side from the road and they don't let spectators in just to be a lookie lou. The amount of crap coming down the Trinity River was a sight to behold, and it had to stop somewhere!

I asked that question when I visited and talked with the TRA in person back in the 1990's. They told me that currents and predominant wind direction kept most trash away from the gates. He did add that occasionally they would open a gate further temporarily to wash it clean if it was getting clogged. Computer algorithms help them determine dam release. Of course that was way before the generators, so I can't answer your question. I think certain areas and coves have a constant problem with logs and debris. Another depressing site is the amount of plastic containers such as water bottles that come down in big rises. I have seen patches of thousands of bottles in the river above the lake when a big rise occurs. Littering should be taken much more seriously than it is.

An added thing I liked about that visit was pictures taken before the dam was closed to retain water. Seeing the long earthen part of the new Hwy-190 bridge on the Onalaska side being out in a big open dry field was interesting as example.
