Looks like a Tomato Hornworm...but it doesn't have a horn.

Maybe it just hasn't shaved in a few days. My ex-wife's legs looked like that after a few days.

My guess is a polyhemus moth caterpiller

They are the ones that spin an oblong silk cocoon

I chunked it out in front of the shop last night. I got another 2 3/8" of rain last night so it's gone. Since Wednesday I've gotten over 8" of rain. I won't be able to cut hay for at least 10 day's. All the tanks are overflowing. Hogs are moving during the day. The rain has run them out of the bottoms.
