Quick story, you might have heard this Kurt. My granny said she was driving up the road toward the house one time and came up on a big rattler. They had a Dodge Coronet 60 something model no hoe or gun in the car. She was told as a child I suppose if you left your underwear by a rattler it would stay there. So Granny took one for the home team, said she dropped her drawers right there and tossed them in front of the rattler and drove to the house. Got Gramps and went back and slayed the rattler. Granny wasn't one for lying so I took it for the truth.Comment

Used to have a bunch of brown scorpions here
Every dry cowpie would have one under it
Fire ants did them in
Tarantulas also, but I haven't seen one in years

Had a big deer blind we set up on the ground to shoot hogs several years back. Norther blew it over and it laid there about five months. I up righted it and stuck a piece of pipe through the windows and picked it up with a front end loader. Took it to my house or barn whatever it is. Set it down and went inside it the thing was eight feet tall and about twelve by six foot. Had carpet on the floor and a bunch of windows. If there was one scorpion in it there was a thousand and I brought that colony to my house. I used wasp spray everything I had to try and kill them I hooked back up to it and took it behind the house and pushed it in a pit we dug.Comment
