Success. He only gave up 3 runs.

          Another pitiful performance...

Well the pitching lived up to expectations, but if you score 0 runs, you will lose every time.

Like I just told my wife, someone needs to go back to the dugout, bat in hand and destroy it. There seems to be no passion on this team right now.

It needs to be Bregman, and it needs to be in the general vicinity of J. Abreau, with lots of expletives, but that will never happen with him. You need someone like Correa, that will get in your face, hold a closed door players meeting where there is a no holds barred cussing match, and someone winds up with sore abdominal muscles. There is no one like that on this team anymore.

I happen to agree with the above statement, absolutely no fire to this team. There's no one on this team with the 'nags to get in the face of the underperforming players, and perhaps voice their displeasure with the manager that change need to be made (1st base). Wonder if Bergman's urgency and performance would improve if they sat him for a couple of games.

I wonder what's with Chas? He can't seem to make contact with the ball when holding, swinging a bat. His pitch whiff rate is astounding. Yeah he's been getting some meaningless hits but he's striking out 2-3 times per game. He's now swinging at more bad pitches than Pena.

                    Rant over.

                    Next up .... Jose Abreu.

Man, that outside pitch he swung at day before yesterday in the 4th inning was crazy….

You mean the one that was ball four?

I've tried catching a game on the tube but all are blacked out. From what I've been reading sounds pretty miserable.

Chas was the only bright star yesterday. Batted .500 in the Washington series.

I didn't watch the game yesterday but I did watch him strike out 5-6 times in the first two games. His hits yesterday must have been meaningless since they were shut out.

And there in lies the problem with this team (well, one of the problems). They are third in MLB in batting average, but 19th in average with runners in scoring position. Everyone on this team hits meaningless hits, not just McCormick.

Ok, so on their current path the Strohs are in line for 66 wins. While I don't think that is a valid # the over/under is not far off, if they continue to run ManBun, Frenchy, and Brownround out there. Looks bad right now.

Pretty sad take after the last 7 year run we’ve been on…..
