      I’m guessing, Trump’s fault?

it’s getting buried as we speak, he had more of an Occupy/antifa leaning than anything trump related.

Suicide is so strange. I am what you would definitely label as intimately familiar with a loved one and suicide. I have read many ways to describe it, but I still say the best is "a permanent solution to a temporary problem." It sounds so cold, but I don't know the man's name even. Apparently life was so bad that death is better. What a shame.

My take from it was the guy was so passionate about his New World Order type of manifesto that he was hoping going out as he did would bring maximum publicity to it….
              I got nuthin….

Maximum publicity. Your post is something I have always thought about concerning suicide. They are hoping that many will be concerned, and stay concerned forever. In reality, that does not happen.

Well, there was this one guy that flew a plane into a building that had an IRS office in it.

Why am I so cynical of the media and the government these days?

His written note strongly suggested he was a nut job. When combined with his actions, I'm convinced he was seriously deranged.

Any time that a person purposely sets themselves on fire you don't need a note to prove that they're a nutjob!

Great...now how we are going to start our charcoal after they ban lighter fluid. After all, it must be the lighter fluids fault and not the fact that guy had a serious mental condition.

Self immolation has a long history, and is, in some places, considered the ultimate form of non-violent protest. In the sense that you only do violence to yourself.

Personally, I think individual rights and autonomy include the right to end one's life. So, the suicide, standing alone, does not indicate insanity to me.
