Craw colored square bill crank or top water frog in true frog pattern color. Solid black Zara spook is a close one too.

Never would consider a frog as a confidence bait, unless you were confident they were gonna miss, but they sure are fun.

White and Chartreuse spinner bait with small hammered blades, followed with a Texas rigged Baby Brush Hog in watermelon. For topwater, it's always been a Devil's Horse, Chug Bug, Buzz Bait or Pop "R".

I think it depends a lot on the waters you're fishing. On most any creek I will thro a frog colored Tiny Torpedo or a 'beefed up' Beetle Spin.
