She looks great! Congrats! IMO, even with the feathering, their hair doesn't mat up too bad.

I've got my work cut out for me. She doesn't know her name, she is not spayed, she does not have all of her vaccinations, she has no collar, doesn't know how to walk on a leash, not house trained, no microchip. I could go on. Taking her to the vet tomorrow.

She looks healthy though. You can overcome the rest. My only concern is their need to RUN, at least mine was that way. I will always remember taking him to what was basically a deer hunting piece of land during the off season. He would run for a couple of hours easily, but would run through camp every 10 or 15 minutes just make sure all was okay in camp.

So you rescued her from some POS that just wanted a dog to look at and neglect?
                Awesome rescue, Thank You.
                She is a beauty..

She is in good hands and is Forever Blessed now! No more hard life for this Cutie!

I know I'm anthropomorphizing, but she has a kind face. You'll give her the structure she needs.

I'd give her some time to get used to her surrounding before a trip to the vet

                    And her name is?

And can I borrower her next hunting season?

I think her name is going to be "Red".

My neighbor has a fenced yard. She will get to run over there.
I can't get her to walk, I have to drag her. She is too heavy for me to pick up. That's is the biggest problem right now.

Shorten the leash so she has to walk at your side
Most dogs are easy to leash train
