McCullers will never pitch for the Astros, write him off. I thought the backend would be solid but they all got lit up, poor start but nothing a 6 game win streak wouldn’t cure.

A loss is a loss, and a win is a win, doesn't matter what point in the 162. You will need somewhere in the neighborhood of 90- 95 wins to make the postseason. The faster you get to that number, the more you can massage your lineup to make your post season run easier, with rest for your starters, and experience for your bench. That said, I see they have moved J Abreau down 1 spot in the order. Is it too early to start bitching about him batting in the middle of the order with a .000 avg. ? I know his post season numbers were pretty good, so maybe we wait till then to get him out of the 9 spot.

Hall of Famer gets hit by a slow hit ground ball between 2nd and 3rd, check.
Then the same Hall of Famer gets picked off at third for the last out in the 8th, check.
I’ve never seen an MLB team/Altuve run the bases as poorly as the Astros going back to last year.
Nevermind, they had the lead off batter reach base on 6 of the last 7 innings and 0 runs scored. 1st and 3rd with 0 outs in the 7th and 0 runs. I thought this was suppose to be one of the best offenses in all of baseball?
